Do you practice sustainability?

We love sustainable floristry and are always learning new ways to keep our planet clean, and use as little plastic as possible. Most of our event work is foam free. Our bouquets come with a biodegradable water pouch that can be popped into your green waste or compost bin along with the paper it comes wrapped in. 

Do you sell plants? 

We offer space styling which includes us designing a brief for your shop or home, with plants to make it come to life. You can send us an email to set up a consultation with our friendly team at info@petalstory.com.au 

Do you offer corporate arrangements? Weekly/Fortnightly?

Yes we do! Send us an email at info@petalstory.com.au to discuss and set up an account with us.

Do you send bouquets throughout the week?

At this time we only offer special occasion bouquet delivery e.g Mother's Day & Valentine's Day. 

Can I be sure I will have the exact flowers that I want for my event?

Our team chooses only the highest quality “seasonal” flowers. If we can not provide the exact flower we will opt for something similar, flowers are seasonal which means we can not always provide you with the bloom if it is not in season. E.g Hydrangea, peonies and tulips have a shorter window and are in season only a couple of months out of the year. We will always work within your theme, and colour palette.

What happens if my flowers are delivered but there is not safe spot to leave them?

If the recipient isn’t home, we’ll do our best to find a discreet and safe spot to leave the order, we will always leave flowers in water. If there is not a suitable place to leave the order, or there is no access to the property, our drivers will attempt to make contact with the sender and recipient with a waiting period of 5 minutes before marking the order un-deliverable.

If there is no safe spot to leave it unfortunately there will be a re-delivery fee added. Alternately the customer can pick it up from our Preston Studio.

Please note: The Sender may be charged a re-delivery fee to have your item redelivered or redirected to an alternative address if an item is unable to be delivered due to a fault of an addresses or restricted access.

Where are you located?

Our studio is located in Preston. Our studio is not open to the public, customers can pick up there items up after placing an order once speaking with a member of our team.

What days do you operate?

We are open Tuesday to Saturday 8.00am - 4.00pm. Fridays and Saturdays are our busiest days with wedding and event work. If you have a urgent enquiry please call us at 0494 129 727.

Can I select the exact flowers to send?

We have a range of beautiful bouquets to choose from here on our website, if you require something that we do not have on our website please give us a call and we can organise something for you. Keep in mind flowers are seasonal. We only offer special occasion bouquets e.g - Mother's Day and Valentine's Day.

Can I write a card message?

Yes! The message button is located under the "buy now" button. Please make sure you sign off with your name, so your recipient knows who their delivery is from.

What if I added the wrong address?

It is the senders responsibly to provide a correct and accurate address and delivery information. Any requests to amend addresses must be made to info@petalstory.com.au by 9am on day of delivery. We cannot guarantee delivery for address changes after this time and they may result in a re-delivery fee and/or next business day delivery.

We strongly suggest double checking your address details before confirming your order to make sure recipient will be home to avoid a delay or re-delivery of your order.

What time do you deliver?

We aim to have all orders delivered between 9-4pm. If you request a specific time please contact our team, this time restraint may come with a small delivery rush fee.

Where are your flowers from? 

Here at Petal Story we work closely with local growers, we travel far and wide to stock the most beautiful and freshest flowers. We source most of our flowers from the Melbourne flower markets which are mostly grown here in Victoria.

What sort of events do you cater for?

We cater for almost every Event! Weddings, Corporate Events, Weekly flower deliveries, Gallery/Shop openings, Church arrangements. If you have a special event please contact us via our enquiry form or at info@petalstory.com.au
